Your best friend when you were a kid,

Then your embarrassing friend when you're older.

From your buddy,

To your stuffed animal.
They are always there to be your friends.
To be your crying shoulder.
So once and a while respect your furry old T-Bear. ;)

Bullying Hurts

Leaving bumps and bruises,
Scars and scratches.
Maybe you should take a walk in their shoes.
Or you can fill in the patches.
Making someone feel smaller,
Does that make you feel bigger?

It can really hurt to be called names,
Even if you're playing games.
Verbal, Physical, Social, and Cyber.
Any of these make you feel like an outsider.

Just because you are taller,
Doesn't mean you have to be bitter.
Do you ever consider the feelings of the victims?
Or how your words effect their lives?
You don't know their annual incomes,
So how about just giving them high-fives.

So next time you think about being cool,
Stick up for the kids at your school.

A day to appreciate having them in our life,
To show them just how much we love them.
To show them we see all the work they do,
To show them they deserve a break.
To show them our life wouldn't be the same without them,
To show them they have a great family that loves them.

Life Passing By

Where does all the time go?
They say time flies when you're having fun,
To dance in the rain instead of waiting for the storm to pass,
But our life has just begun.

My Room

It's my personal space,
My comfy place.
Although it's a pig sty,
I love it as much as pie.

There are shirts, pants, and socks everywhere,
But I don't really care.
In the mess I can find anything,
Even my mothers engagement ring. ;)

Why are holidays so exciting?
Are they not just a normal day?
I can't believe they are that inviting.
Maybe it is just for the treats on the tray!

Making the worms come to play,

Why do we truly have to be greedy?
When a lot of people are so needy?
We always say there is no other way?
But is that what we really mean to say?

Do we really think it falls from a tree?
You know, everything isn't always free!
Some people just manage paying their rent.
Working like a dog, earning every cent.

When will we ever have the chance to learn?
Why citizens should have further concern.
This is the time I must confess to you,
I carry with myself a little clue.

There's a difference between our countries,
That is a certainty, believe me please.

Just A Little About My Blog

Hello. :) How are you doing today? I would like to tell you a little bit about my blog. First I would like to say that my poems will be about a variety of topics instead of having all of them about one topic. I chose the theme for my background because it doesn't have a specific topic, it is just a nice, patterned background with a little bit of a scrapbook feeling to it.
